Device borehole autonomous LOTOS
Appointment
The autonomous borehole device LOTOS is intended for research in oil and gas wells during their operation or repair and can solve the following problems:
• measuring pressure and temperature along the wellbore (pressure gauge, thermometer); • determining the profile of the influx and water content in oil and gas ( dielcometer ); • determination of the position of coupling joints and perforation intervals (coupling locator) in columns made of both magnetic alloys and stainless steels with no magnetic properties; • logging data according to the gamma radiation intensity curve along the wellbore (GC channel).
Execution
A variant of the device with an extended temperature range is also possible for operation in an environment with a hydrogen sulfide content of up to 30%.
Principle of operation
Information is recorded in digital form in the internal memory of the device modules. As memory chips, flash memory is used , which allows you to save information when the power source is off. To control and record the speed of movement and the depth of the borehole modules, the ICG depth control module is used . Depth data is used to bind data recorded by the downhole tool.
After the measurement process, the information is read into a computer for processing and analysis. Data can be displayed on a computer screen in digital and graphic form, printed on a printer or transferred to other data processing programs.
