Autonomous dielectric hydrometer (dielkometr)
Appointment
A stand-alone dielectric moisture meter is designed to determine waterlogging zones in oil and gas wells by measuring the relative permittivity.
Composition
The device includes: a sensor, a recording unit, a battery compartment, a security casing. Additionally, the device is equipped with an adapter for connecting to a computer, and a control program.
Principle of operation
During tripping operations, the dielectric constant of the medium is recorded. For depth reference, time synchronization is used. Information is recorded in digital form, with a period of 1s, in the flash-memory of the device, which allows you to save information when the power is off. The dielectric moisture meter software provides testing, tuning and reading information from the device, as well as editing and linking data by depth (with a depth sensor).
The data read from the device can be displayed on the screen in digital and graphic form (see examples of windows Fig. 1, 2), printed on a printer, or analyzed and processed by other programs.
